In conjunction with our American Patent Services® Practice, we prepare and file patent applications and handle the examination of these applications. Our approach, however, is to not for an issued patent to be the end result, but to preserve options for financial and other rewards while the dynamic process of innovation naturally evolves with each research project. We work with all stakeholders to help great ideas become one or more technology assets.
Academic Innovation Management LLC (AIM) is our ancillary academic innovation management business. AIM facilitates and manages multinational collaborative relationships involving scientific research, technology development and commercialization.
AIM also helps universities, research centers and healthcare facilities with trademark licensing and brand development and implementation. Unlike collegiate trademark licensing agencies that excel for schools with national ranking sports teams, AIM's focus is on educational institutions with national and international renown for academic programs, research centers, and special facilties that advance knowledge and innovation in science and technology, medicine and entrepreneurship.
Our legal practice works closely with AIM on matters involving IP rights, licensing and other transactional matters.
