Al is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He graduated from North Carolina A & T University with a B.S. in Engineering Physics. He has over 10 years experience as an electronic technician/engineer, including experience with U.S. Air Force communication electronics and industrial digital electronics and telecommunications. He was a Patent Examiner for over 5 years, an in-house patent agent at a thin film technology lab for over 5 years, and a law firm patent agent for over 10 years.
Al joined Litman Law in 1995 as a patent researcher. He now manages the search practice, counsels inventors, writes and prosecutes patent applications, and assists on special projects. Al handles difficult patent issues and resolves them to provide Litman Law clients with the best possible solutions.
In his spare time, Al enjoys wine tasting with his wife, reading, computer gaming, and real estate.
